In our Engineering department, we have a vacancy: Senior Project Manager (Engineering)

Your mission will be to provide transversal support across all areas of the department, with a particular focus on market and consumer analysis. This role is designed to offer a comprehensive learning experience in a multinational environment, fostering both creative and analytical skills.

Main Responsibilities:
  1. Develop comprehensive project plans with clear timelines and objectives.
  2. Coordinate multidisciplinary teams and manage resources.
  3. Monitor and control project schedule, budget, and scope.
  4. Participate in the specification and basic design of processes and installations.
  5. Identify and mitigate risks, creating contingency plans.
  6. Maintain communication with stakeholders to report progress and manage expectations.
  7. Adapt to changes in project requirements or environments.
  8. Negotiate and manage contracts with suppliers.
  9. Manage the procurement process for industrial equipment and services.
  10. Coordinate installation, construction, and commissioning of the project.
  11. Ensure quality of deliverables and compliance with technical standards and specifications.
  12. Efficiently hand over installations to end users (training coordination, documentation, and support).
  13. Ensure and promote compliance with the Corporate Engineering Project Management standards.

Academic Background:

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering.

Languages Skills:

High level of English (at least C1); knowledge of French and Polish is a plus.

Experience and Knowledge:
Specific Technical Knowledge:
  • PMP certification or equivalent. Proficiency in PM2 Project Management methodology.
  • Knowledge of production processes and facilities of consumer goods industry (packing and manufacturing).
  • Advanced understanding of various industrial systems such as storage and distribution systems for gases, liquids, and solids; generation, distribution, and transformation of electrical power; water treatment systems, industrial heating and cooling systems, steam and boilers, HVAC, compressed air, fire protection, and sewage systems.
  • In-depth knowledge of industrial technologies, including industrial communications, programmable logic controllers (PLCs), industrial electrotechnics, instrumentation, pneumatics, electric drives, industrial safety, and robotics.
  • Familiarity with safety and quality regulations in the consumer goods sector.
Specific Tools:
  • Expertise in project management software (e.g., MS Project).
  • Proficiency with design and simulation tools (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks).
  • Leadership: Inspire and guide teams.
  • Conflict Resolution: Mediate and resolve disputes.
  • Effective Communication: Clearly convey ideas.
  • Time Management: Organize schedules efficiently.
  • Critical Thinking: Make informed decisions.
