We are seeking an experienced Fabric and PowerBI Support Specialist / Developer to triage issues and support our data BI platform. The ideal candidate is self-motivated and capable of working independently.
Skills include: Data Engineering, ETL/Data Warehouse, Big Data, Source code management, Design and architecture, Root Cause Analysis, Incident Management, Requirements Analysis, DevOps pipelines, Jira, Confluence, Release management, Data quality, Data Governance.
Tools and Technologies encompass: ETL tools (Databricks, Spark, SSIS, Azure Data Factory, Talend, AWS Glue, EMR, EC2, Azure Purview, Google BigQuery), Big Data platforms (Hadoop, Hive, Data Lake, Azure Synapse, AWS S3), SQL databases (Oracle, SQL Server, Spark, Cosmos DB), NoSQL databases (Cosmos DB, Neo4j), Data Governance tools, ETL architectures, Data Modeling, Programming (Python, Java), DevOps tools, Cloud platforms, Testing frameworks, and Visualization (Power BI).
Participate in requirement analysis and design discussions, create and review mapping documents, develop code with Python and Spark, produce complex SQL queries, develop tests, create visualizations, automate tasks, build DevOps pipelines, act as a data architect, support QA and testing, and manage deployments within an Agile framework.
