About the Job

We are seeking an experienced Fabric and PowerBI Support Specialist / Developer to triage issues and support our data BI platform. The ideal candidate is self-motivated and capable of working independently.

Responsibilities

1. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support our data reporting platform and troubleshoot issues.
2. Diagnose and resolve application issues.
3. Conduct testing, debugging, and documentation of changes.
4. Work with development teams to escalate and prioritize critical issues.
5. Assist in deploying and configuring application updates.
6. Provide technical support and training to team members as needed.
7. Maintain records of support requests and resolutions.

Skills include: Data Engineering, ETL/Data Warehouse, Big Data, Source code management, Design and architecture, Root Cause Analysis, Incident Management, Requirements Analysis, DevOps pipelines, Jira, Confluence, Release management, Data quality, Data Governance.

Technical Responsibilities

Participate in requirement analysis and design discussions, create and review mapping documents, develop code with Python and Spark, produce complex SQL queries, develop tests, create visualizations, automate tasks, build DevOps pipelines, act as a data architect, support QA and testing, and manage deployments within an Agile framework.
