We are seeking an experienced People Manager to lead one of our Data Operations teams. This role is pivotal in ensuring the efficient and high-quality delivery of data operations that support our product development. You will be part of the Data Operations leadership team, managing a team of 5 Veevans and overseeing multiple hundred curators.

You know how to lead an engaged and high-performing team. Building personal connections and holding team members accountable comes naturally. You are experienced in driving process improvements and skilled in data-driven decision-making. You are hands-on and comfortable analyzing data yourself. Your understanding of the product's value allows you to shape operations and collaborate effectively with product managers.

You will represent Data Operations in a cross-functional product team, working closely with Product Management, Data Engineering, and Data Science.

What You'll Do

• Identify, conceptualize, and implement process improvements
• Ensure your teams curate high-quality data
• Guide Data Analysts in assessing data quality
• Manage a high-performing team
• Manage relationships with stakeholders from different functions in Link
• Be hands-on in analyzing your team’s performance
• Execute change with speed

Requirements

• Extensive people leadership experience (5+ years)
• Proven track record in process improvements
• Confident spreadsheet skills (pivot tables, nested formulas)
• Excellent communication skills in English

Nice to Have

• Experience in life sciences (education or professional experience)
• Data analysis skills (e.g., SQL, Tableau)
• Participation in charitable giving programs
