• Más de 5 años de experiencia en diseño arquitectónico en proyectos de hoteles de lujo.
• Dominio profesional del inglés y español.
• Experiencia internacional en proyectos de escala similar.

Responsabilidades

• Apoyar al Gerente Senior de Arquitectura y Diseño en la supervisión del proceso de diseño.
• Contribuir al desarrollo de planes de proyecto, incluyendo cronogramas y asignación de recursos.
• Asegurar que los elementos arquitectónicos cumplan con los objetivos y especificaciones del proyecto.

Position profile :

Senior Architect with extensive experience in luxury hotels and resorts. This position is on-site in Madrid.

The firm :

A reference in the luxury hotel sector and a fast growing group operating luxury resorts in unique coastal locations in the Mediterranean.

Professional profile and qualifications for the position :

We are looking for a Senior Architect & Design Specialist, SIG who is passionate about architectural design in the luxury hotel sector, with a strategic vision and ability to innovate in the field of architecture and design. The ideal candidate will have experience in overseeing design processes developed by external architecture and design firms for new projects within the group. It is essential that you share our vision to deliver unparalleled hospitality experiences and contribute to the continued growth of the luxury hospitality sector.

Main responsibilities and duties :

• Support the Senior Manager Architecture and Design in overseeing the design process prepared by external architecture and design firms for the group's new projects.
• Contribute to the development of project plans, including timelines, milestones and resource allocation, with a focus on architectural and design aspects, and provide input on project viability, taking into account design aesthetics, functionality and budgetary constraints.
• Ensure that architectural and design elements are perfectly aligned with pre-defined project objectives and specifications.
• Ensure that projects comply with all control processes (planning, budget control, implementation and reporting) that need to be monitored and controlled.
• Support the Design Department in the creation of new Group Design Guidelines to be used by external and internal teams on all future projects.

Professional skills required :

• University and / or Master's degree in Architecture.
• More than 5 years of experience in architectural design in luxury hotel projects.
• Strong knowledge of the concept and design process, project documentation and material specifications.
• Strong knowledge of the relationship between the design team, the hotel operator and other consultants.
• Professional command of both English (interview will be conducted in English) and Spanish.
• International experience in projects of similar scale.
• Proficiency in industry standard design and management software :
• AutoCAD
• Revit
• Photoshop
• InDesign
• Microsoft Office
• Portuguese will be considered a strong asset.
• 3D skills will be an advantage (3D Max, SketchUp, Rhino, etc.)
• Project management and team coordination skills.
• Minimum 5 years experience in relevant luxury hotel project management or similar roles.
• Knowledge of Agile Methodologies and Design Thinking applied to training.
• Availability to travel, occasionally, in international territory (EU).
• Strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.
• Collaborative and professional work ethic.
• Comfortable working in fast-paced environments, managing time and resource priorities.
• Must be an organised team player. Proactivity and leadership skills.
• Results oriented and able to take responsibility.
• Ability to work as part of a team and adapt to different roles as required.
• Passion for training and professional development. Dynamic person involved in innovating and suggesting improvements.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficient in digital tools and management platforms.
