Early Life-Cycle Manager

The Global Central Reliability Maintenance Engineering (RME) team is seeking a talented and driven equipment Early Lifecycle Manager (ELM) to work closely with the development and deployment of new automation. The ideal candidate will combine strong technical acumen with leadership abilities to drive the successful deployment of new technologies across EU and NA sites. This role requires someone who embodies our leadership principles of Earn Trust, Ownership, Customer Obsession, and Insistence on Highest Standards, as they will be managing complex workstreams with high degrees of ambiguity while ensuring consistent quality in deliverables.

The Sr. NTI Manager must demonstrate exceptional strategic thinking and stakeholder management skills, serving as the primary interface between RME, technology owners, and external stakeholders. They will need to make data-driven decisions and build strong relationships across all levels of the organization.

The responsibility extends beyond traditional program management - the selected candidate will lead a team of technical professionals and drive innovation in maintenance strategies. They will oversee the development and implementation of RME standards for new technologies across multiple programs, while developing standardized processes for technology deployment and handover to operations. Success in this role requires comfort with ambiguity, ability to make difficult decisions with incomplete information, and skill in driving consensus across diverse stakeholder groups.

Key job responsibilities

Leadership and Team Development:

- Lead and develop a team of technical professionals, including performance management, career development, and succession planning.

- Foster a culture of excellence, continuous improvement, and innovation within the team.

- Drive the professional growth of team members through mentoring, coaching, and creating development opportunities.

Technical Program Management:

- Oversee the development and implementation of RME standards for new technologies across multiple programs.

- Lead the preparation and tracking of RME deliverables for all programs in the development phase.

- Develop and implement standardized processes for technology deployment and handover to operations.

Strategic Planning and Execution:

- Serve as Single Thread Leader (STL) for interactions with technology teams, managing relationships up to leadership level.

- Lead lessons learned workshops to define short and long-term improvement initiatives.

- Manage complex cross-functional programs with significant business impact.

Stakeholder Management:

- Act as primary point of contact between RME Central, RME Field, and external stakeholders.

- Build and maintain strategic relationships with technology owners, vendors, and internal teams.

- Lead weekly/monthly business reviews and handle escalations up to Director level.

- Ensure effective communication and alignment across all stakeholder groups.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

- Bachelors degree in Engineering, Technical Field, or equivalent practical experience.

- Senior project management experience or related field.

- Experience leading and development teams.

- Strong track record of delivering complex technical projects.

- Experience in maintenance, reliability engineering, or related technical field.

- Demonstrated ability to lead and influence across multiple stakeholder groups.

- Experience in developing and implementing technical standards and processes.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with data-driven decision making.

- Excellent communication and presentation skills.

- Proven ability to work effectively in ambiguous situations and drive clarity.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

- Strong working knowledge of Lean/Six Sigma methodologies.

- Experience of technical program management.

- MBA, advanced degrees, and/or Black Belt certification(s).
