Job Description

Our Early Career program is aimed at participants to start or accelerate their careers. Through a range of approaches including innovative experiential learning and technical training, performance assessments, formalized mentoring, and exposure to senior leaders, our Early Career program offers unparalleled development opportunities for our diverse early career talent.

As a Full-time Claims Analyst, you will experience a combination of self-study, classroom, and on-the-job assignments that will quickly develop your professional knowledge. Training sessions will be part of the program. You will learn first hand how to:

1. Investigate, evaluate, negotiate and settle assigned claims, by collecting and analyzing data in accordance with policy application and/or contract conditions.
2. Determine whether to accept or deny a claim based on all documentation received.
3. Analyze and determine insurance coverages, from coverage enquiry through legal liability assessment (where relevant) and quantum analysis, to timely and accurate resolution.
4. Engage experts and lawyers where necessary.
5. Effectively communicate with internal stakeholders and brokers, (medical) experts, clients, lawyers, victims or their legal representatives.
6. Work with underwriters, turning claims experience into improved products.

Requirements and skills - What we’re looking for:

1. Recent University Graduates or a little bit of experience in the Insurance industry.
2. Law or Business Administration degree preferred.
3. Industry related summer internship or work experience is a plus.
4. Cross Functional Collaboration and Teamwork.
5. Outgoing and entrepreneurial personality.
6. Good communication and interpersonal skills.
7. Analytical skills and critical thinking.
8. Client Focus and Solution Orientation: Problem Solving.
9. Challenging with humility.
