The International Partnerships Director will be a key player in Envoys' initiative to expand and develop new relationships in markets outside the United States and Canada. We are seeking a dynamic professional who thrives in relationship-building, project management, and program execution skills.

The ideal candidate is entrepreneurial, results-driven, and passionate about global education. Previous experience working in international K-12 schools, sales, partnership development, or customer success is a plus. The International Partnerships Director will play a critical role in helping Envoys achieve its ambitious growth goals with a unique challenge : building a new market from the ground up, developing relationships with schools and institutions beyond the U.S. market.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Partnership Development & Sales

  • Establish, cultivate, and manage long-term relationships with schools outside the U.S. and Canada.
  • Lead outreach efforts to identify and develop new partnerships, ensuring a strong pipeline of opportunities.
  • Develop and present tailored proposals, pitches, and partnership materials to school decision-makers.
  • Collaborate closely with school leaders, administrators, and faculty to customize global education programs that align with their goals.

Program Execution & Support

  • Work both in-person and virtually with school partners throughout the program development and execution process.
  • Serve as the main point of contact for partner schools, providing ongoing guidance and support.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless program implementation.
  • Facilitate workshops, training sessions, and consulting services for schools as needed.

Thought Leadership & Industry Engagement

  • Represent Envoys at conferences, industry events, and networking opportunities to broaden the organization’s reach.
  • Contribute to thought leadership in global education and experiential learning by staying informed about industry trends.

Travel & Fieldwork

  • Travel 4-5 weeks per year for school visits, network maintenance, and business development efforts.
  • Work alongside the Envoys Growth team to execute and refine the organization’s international partnership strategy.

Who We’re Looking For

We seek an experienced, hands-on leader who thrives in small, dynamic, and efficient organizations. The ideal candidate will have :

Required Experience & Skills

  • 3-5 years of experience in business development, sales, customer success, or a client-facing role.
  • Proven experience developing partnerships with educational institutions.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to identify new opportunities, navigate ambiguity, and develop creative strategies for market entry and growth.
  • Resilience and adaptability to navigate uncertainty, pivot strategies, and build structure in an evolving, high-growth market where playbooks are still being written.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build trust with school leaders and educators.
  • High level of initiative and autonomy, with the ability to work remotely while driving results.
  • Willingness to travel for school visits and conferences / events.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in education, global studies, or experiential learning.
  • Background in leading educational travel programs or curriculum development.
  • High-level organizational skills with proficiency in Google Suite, Hubspot, and project management tools.
  • Spanish proficiency is a plus.
