BUSINESS UNIT

HRS' Product Management department is a critical function in driving the success of the company's Lodging-as-a-Service (LaaS), Meeting-as-a-Service (MaaS), and Workforce-as-a-Service (WaaS) platform offerings. The department collaborates with cross-functional teams to define the product vision, roadmap, and strategy, and prioritizes features using analytics and data to meet business goals and deliver an exceptional experience for stakeholders.

The teams in the Product Management department at HRS own the program backlog, define product increments and releases, and are responsible for the product vision, roadmap, pricing, licensing, and ROI. They possess strong business and technical knowledge and excellent communication and prioritization skills.

The department operates based on HRS' leadership principles, emphasizing customer success, challenging the status quo, and fostering growth. They hire and develop team members to become the best through radical candid feedback.

Product Managers at HRS are learning pioneers, continually seeking to improve processes, products, and technologies. POSITION

As a Product Designer (all genders) for our Travel Tech segment, you will be a key member of the Product Trio, working alongside Product Managers and Engineering Leads to discover, validate, and deliver solutions that address real customer problems. You will focus on usability, ensuring our products are intuitive, efficient, and impactful for customers. Through collaboration, strategic design, and user-driven insights, you will help shape products that deliver measurable value to users and the business.

CHALLENGE
  • Usability Ownership: Focus on eliminating friction points in the user journey, ensuring designs solve real problems with clarity and ease of use.
  • Discovery & Hypothesis Validation: Partner with the Product Trio to identify customer problems, explore solutions, and validate hypotheses through user research and rapid prototyping.
  • Continuous User Research: Plan and execute research activities such as interviews, inquiries, workshops, and usability tests to uncover insights.
  • Strategic Design Execution: Translate research into prototypes and designs, ensuring usability and simplicity, and initiate change through narrative document analysis.
  • Iterative Delivery: Collaborate with engineers during implementation to ensure design quality and measurable outcomes.
  • Design System Contribution: Maintain and enhance our proprietary Design System for consistency and scalability.

Your work will directly improve the platform for booking workspaces, meeting rooms, and accommodations, enhancing the experience for business travelers and integrating with third-party applications.

  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in product design (B2B / B2C), simplifying complex processes into intuitive interfaces.
  • Expertise in usability testing and addressing usability risks through hypothesis-driven design and continuous iteration, with a data-focused approach.
  • A collaborative mindset, thriving as part of the Product Trio to ensure product success.
  • Proficiency in design tools and research platforms like Figma, Miro, Dovetail, and User Interviews.
  • Experience in user-centered research and translating insights into design solutions.
  • Excellent communication skills in English, advocating for usability and aligning stakeholders.
  • A passion for agile development and understanding of Discovery and Delivery practices.

LOCATION, MOBILITY, INCENTIVE

This is a remote role based in Spain or Poland, with occasional travel to Cologne for team meetings. The compensation includes a competitive salary, work equipment, mobility, and an annual or multi-year bonus.
