Descripción del empleo

The Project Manager will plan, direct, and ensure the successful outcome of projects utilizing the assigned project teams, standards, practices, and toolsets established within Flowserve. You will work directly with internal and external stakeholders to ensure all project activities are regularly reported to the client and performed according to agreed technical specifications and project terms and conditions.

Your role :

1. Demonstrate ownership and accountability for total project performance and safety (from project initiation to completion) on all assigned projects.
2. Drive improved customer relationships by creating a work environment free of unfavorable circumstances or perceptions for either party, meeting or exceeding customer performance expectations.
3. Ensure a clear order before commencing work on an assigned project and utilize the change management system to control the scope of work and associated costs throughout the project lifecycle.
4. Coordinate activities of all matrix reports (per project).
5. Manage spending expectations on each assigned project.
6. Communicate project milestone status updates and any existing or potential customer escalation issues to all concerned parties. Follow appropriate escalation processes and take overall ownership of all reports.
7. Perform other duties as assigned.

Your profile :

1. BS or BA Degree in a relevant field (engineering).
2. Excellent estimating, scheduling, and budgeting skills.
3. At least 3 years of experience in program/project management.
4. Excellent presentation, oral and written communication skills, including meeting and workshop facilitation experience.
5. Team building, problem-solving, and conflict resolution skills.
6. Experience using Microsoft Office.
7. Proven experience in risk and change management.
8. Adaptability, flexibility, and proactivity.
