Job Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Business Development Manager to join our team. This role will be pivotal in leading and expanding our overseas influencer marketing business. The ideal candidate is a proven leader with extensive experience in business development, particularly in the influencer marketing or social media industry. They will be responsible for crafting and executing strategic business development plans that align with the company’s growth objectives. This role requires strong knowledge of international social media platforms, excellent communication skills in English, and exceptional client relationship management abilities.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Client Acquisition & Relationship Building: Identify, pursue, and secure new business opportunities to drive growth in overseas markets. Develop and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key clients, ensuring their needs are met and exceeded.
  2. Strategic Planning & Execution: Create and implement comprehensive business development strategies aligned with the company’s goals. Conduct market research to identify trends, opportunities, and competitive insights, adjusting strategies accordingly.
  3. Collaboration & Coordination: Work closely with internal teams, including campaign managers and account managers, to align client expectations with deliverables. Monitor project progress, ensuring timely and high-quality execution of campaigns.
  4. Revenue Growth: Achieve and exceed sales targets by converting leads into loyal clients. Identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling additional services to existing clients.

Requirements

  1. Proven Experience: Minimum of 2 years in a business development or sales role within the influencer marketing or social media agency industry, with a demonstrated track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets.
  2. Lead Generation Expertise: Demonstrated ability to proactively generate new business leads through various channels, including cold outreach, networking events, social selling, and leveraging existing industry connections. Candidates should showcase a consistent history of building and maintaining a robust sales pipeline.
  3. Client Acquisition Skills: Proven methodologies for identifying and securing potential brand clients, coupled with an established network within the influencer marketing ecosystem.
  4. Language Proficiency: Fluency in English, both written and verbal, with exceptional communication skills to effectively engage and negotiate with global clients.
  5. Industry Knowledge: Comprehensive understanding of major social media platforms (YouTube, Instagram, TikTok) and the creator economy, including current trends and platform-specific strategies.
  6. Relationship Management: Exceptional negotiation and relationship-building abilities, capable of fostering trust and long-term partnerships with high-value clients.
  7. Adaptability and Drive: Proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced, global environment, adapt to evolving market demands, and consistently deliver results under pressure.
