We're looking for a Head of Design who will be responsible for redefining and elevating the Weekendesk brand image across all channels.

This role involves aligning all visual communications—ranging from web content and physical products, social media to digital media, advertising, and merchandising—with our newly defined brand identity.

You will manage and inspire a team of designers and creatives, ensuring every piece of communication meets our high standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Brand Image Redesign: Lead the initiative to revamp the overall brand image of Weekendesk and create a cohesive visual identity that reflects our brand values and appeals to our target audience.
  2. Visual Alignment: Oversee the alignment of all visual elements (website, physical products, digital content, communications, advertising, etc.) with the brand image, ensuring consistency across platforms.
  3. Social Media Branding: Define and develop the social media image to align with the brand identity, collaborating with marketing to create a cohesive strategy, monitor trends, and refine approaches.
  4. Creative Campaigns: Define creative lines for promotions, create all creatives for advertising campaigns, and develop always-on creatives for off-season periods.
  5. Team Management: Manage, mentor, and delegate projects to a team of designers and creatives, setting expectations and monitoring progress for high-quality outputs.
  6. Brand Guidelines & Content Standards: Develop comprehensive brand guides, including visual standards, tone of voice, and design principles, and define minimum standards for website products, including photography and multimedia content.
  7. Performance & Optimization: Analyze creative performance data to optimize campaigns and strategies, leveraging insights for continuous improvement.
  8. Stakeholder Collaboration: Partner with senior management and cross-functional teams to ensure creative strategies align with business objectives and brand cohesion.

Does This Sound Like You?

  • Minimum of 5 years in creative roles, preferably within the digital industry.
  • Proven success in brand revamps and managing multi-channel creative projects.
  • Exceptional conceptualization and execution skills, with expertise in creating brand guides and visual standards.
  • Strong leadership and team management abilities, fostering a collaborative environment.
  • Proficiency in leveraging data to refine creative strategies and optimize advertising efforts.
  • Excellent communication skills and experience working with cross-functional teams.
  • Proficiency in design and creative software, especially video editing tools.
