To support our project teams, we are looking for a Procurement Manager IT for our office in Madrid or Barcelona (full time).

Responsibilities include :

  • Develop and execute strategic sourcing strategies for the IT category to optimize cost savings, quality, and supplier performance.
  • Conduct market research and analysis to identify emerging trends, potential suppliers, and innovative solutions within the IT industry.
  • Partner with IT / Technology Leadership to align strategic IT initiatives with procurement strategies and business objectives.
  • Understand the IT supplier contract portfolio to identify synergy opportunities, expiring contracts, and optimization needs.
  • Lead supplier identification, evaluation, selection, and contract negotiation processes to secure favorable terms and conditions.
  • Manage supplier relationships and performance through regular reviews, KPI tracking, and performance improvement initiatives, in partnership with IT leadership.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance procurement processes, efficiency, and effectiveness within the IT category.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements throughout the procurement lifecycle.
  • Monitor and mitigate risks associated with the IT supply chain, including geopolitical, financial, and operational risks.
  • Provide guidance and support to internal stakeholders on procurement best practices, supplier selection, and contract management.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends, innovations, and best practices in IT procurement to maintain a competitive advantage.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field; MBA or relevant certification preferred.
  • Approximately seven years of proven experience in IT procurement, strategic sourcing, and supplier management roles, preferably in a multinational organization.
  • Deep understanding of IT products and services, including hardware, software, cloud services, and telecommunications.
  • Knowledge of contract law, procurement regulations, and ethical sourcing practices.
  • Track record of successfully managing complex procurement projects and driving cost savings initiatives.
  • Proficiency in procurement software, ERP systems, and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Fluent communication skills in English and Spanish.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, conduct financial analysis, and make data-driven decisions.
  • Excellent project management, negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
