About the Job :

The Product Customer Data team is seeking a Cloud Engineer. This team manages a customer data platform that consolidates data from marketing sources and prepares it for activation across marketing channels (e.g., social media) and analytical purposes.

What you will do :

• Maintain and extend our customer data platform using GCP services (e.g., Dataflow, Cloud Functions), primarily with Python and Terraform, and work with SQL technologies like Google BigQuery and Snowflake.
• Design, develop, perform unit testing (Pytest), ensure quality, and document your work.
• Take ownership of code from development to production deployment.
• Collaborate closely within an agile team based in Germany and Spain, communicating in English.

What you will bring :

• Hands-on experience as a software developer in recent projects.
• Several years of Python programming experience.
• Knowledge of Google Cloud Platform (GCP) with a willingness to grow further.
• Experience with version control (GIT), software development, Kafka / PubSub, and Docker.
• Knowledge of Terraform and Apache Beam with Dataflow.
• Interest or experience working in agile teams (Scrum).
• Strong English verbal and written communication skills.
• Understanding of clean code principles.
• Residence in Spain with a valid work permit / VISA (no sponsorship needed).

Nice to have :

• Knowledge of Cloud Build.
• Experience with Snowflake and BigQuery.
• Willingness to work on user stories.
