We are hiring a Senior Backend Developer for SmartTV to join our team!

Location: Anywhere in Spain! Enjoy the flexibility of remote work!

As a Senior Developer, you will play a key role in developing, customizing, and maintaining applications and backend systems for Smart TV platforms. This role requires experience in Smart TV development environments, multimedia technologies, and a deep understanding of scalable, high-performance architectures to deliver exceptional experiences across devices.

Your key tasks will be :

1. Contribute to the development and evolution of leading TV products and services as part of the Agile TV team, ensuring the best TV experience.
2. Participate in developing new products and enhancing existing ones, influencing architectural decisions (e.g., Next-Generation TV Platform).
3. Design and implement new features to support backend modules and improve platform functionality.
4. Develop high-performance, reliable, secure, and scalable applications.
5. Mentor other team members.

You must have :

1. 6+ years of backend development experience with Java, NodeJS, or Python.
2. Expertise in software development best practices (SOLID, Clean Code), including optimization, documentation, and testing.
3. Strong knowledge of Java 8+, Spring Framework (Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Security), Python with Flask or Django, or NodeJS with Express or Fastify, and dependency injection.
4. Experience with RESTful APIs and microservices architecture.
5. Familiarity with SQL (PostgreSQL, MySQL) and NoSQL (MongoDB, Redis) databases.
6. Experience with multithreading, concurrency, and performance tuning.
7. Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure).
8. Proficiency with Git and version control best practices.
9. Experience working in Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban).
10. Fluent in Spanish (C1/C2) and English (B2+ or higher).
11. Residing in Spain with a valid work permit.
