Mission

Member of Iberia's Technical Team of Execution iHUB department, the Technical Project Designer is responsible for performing technical operational activities (e.g., design of layout or schematics, software coding, testing, commissioning), related to a customer project, based on pre-defined technical specifications. In his/her area of focus, identifies risks and interfaces, and provides the necessary reporting to the project's technical stakeholders in Medium Voltage Area.

Project Types: Medium Voltage

Experience in Medium Voltage Switchgears, Transformers, Protection Relays, and Protections, including design, validation, and commissioning to meet customer project specifications.

Main Responsibilities

• Specify and provide technical solutions according to customer requirements and project scope.
• Validate technical choices supporting quoting and throughout project execution, ensuring final solutions comply with Schneider's Medium Voltage solutions.
• Review technical documentation to optimize solutions and ensure customer requirements are met.
• Report to the Project Manager and relevant stakeholders.
• Manage stakeholder relationships and communicate proactively regarding technical solutions and compliance.

Knowledge and Experience

• Minimum of two (2) years’ experience with Medium Voltage products and systems.
• Knowledge of Medium Voltage project execution with equipment such as switchgears (3kV to 36kV), transformers, and protection relays.
• Experience in designing low voltage compartments and control systems, software configuration of protection relays, and electrical control cabinet design.
• Familiarity with industrial protocols (Modbus, IEC61850, etc.) and Schneider Electric equipment is a plus.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools; experience with MS Project, CAD (AutoCAD, Eplan, SEE Electrical) is advantageous.
• Fluent in Spanish and/or Portuguese; English proficiency required.
• Willingness to travel within Iberia and internationally as needed.
