As an Area Manager Key Accounts, you will play a pivotal role in expanding and consolidating presence in the assigned territory, while leading the team to achieve the division's planned revenue results.

This is a remote vacancy open to candidates residing in Spain.

Job Responsibilities
  • Expand and consolidate presence in the Iberia region;
  • Lead the team to achieve the division's planned revenue results;
  • Monitor and analyze the team's KPI results;
  • Acquire key partners, such as tour operators, TMCs, and wholesalers, primarily through API channels;
  • Support the team in managing key accounts;
  • Organize the search and recruitment of new business partners, strengthen relationships with current partners, and conduct negotiations;
  • Develop team members through hiring, training, and coaching to reach the next level;
  • Participate in developing and implementing the division's marketing plan;

Conduct market research, reporting, analysis, and forecasting using Tableau and internal analytic tools.

Key Qualifications
  • Relevant Experience: Minimum of 3 years of successful leadership in sales and account management, with in-depth knowledge of the regional travel market, a successful sales background, and business development expertise in the B2B travel industry;
  • Market Knowledge: Deep understanding of the Spanish travel market, especially in API integrations, tour operators, TMCs, and wholesalers. Proven experience in negotiating and closing technology-driven sales deals;
  • Technical Skills: Mandatory competence in API technology deals;
  • Leadership Skills: Proven ability to manage, motivate, and develop a team effectively, fostering collaboration and driving results;
  • Language Skills: Fluent in Spanish and English; Portuguese is a plus;
  • Location: Spain;
  • Travel Requirements: Up to 30% of travel time;
  • Analytical Skills: Data-driven decision-making, innovative use of technology, and experience in using KPIs to measure success;
  • Personal Skills: Proactive, ambitious, motivated, action-oriented, results-focused, tech-savvy, adaptable to fast-changing environments, and a team player;
  • International Mindset: Ability to work across diverse cultural contexts reflecting ETG’s global presence;
