We are seeking an experienced People Manager to lead one of our Data Operations teams. This role is crucial for ensuring efficient, high-quality data operations that support product development. You will be part of the Data Operations leadership team, managing a team of 5 Veevans and overseeing multiple hundred curators.

You excel at leading engaged, high-performing teams, building personal connections, and holding team members accountable. You are experienced in process improvements, data-driven decision-making, and are hands-on in analyzing performance data. Your understanding of product value enables you to shape operations and collaborate effectively with product managers.

You will represent Data Operations in a cross-functional product team, working closely with Product Management, Data Engineering, and Data Science.

3. Guide Data Analysts in assessing data quality

5. Maintain relationships with stakeholders across functions
6. Analyze your team’s performance hands-on
7. Implement changes swiftly

Requirements

• Extensive people leadership experience (5+ years)
• Proven track record in process improvements
• Confident in spreadsheet tools (pivot tables, nested formulas)
• Excellent English communication skills

Nice to Have

• Experience in life sciences (education or professional)
• Data analysis skills (e.g., SQL, Tableau)
