Job Description :

This role is ideal for an experienced product leader with a strong WebRTC background who enjoys working closely with API developers and has empathy for onboarding new developers.

What you'll do :

1. Lead the vision, strategy, and execution of the developer onboarding experience for the Vonage Video API as part of the broader Vonage API Dashboard.
2. Work closely with new users to understand their needs and develop easy-to-adopt product offerings that enhance platform value.
3. Collaborate with engineering and UX teams to translate customer needs into product requirements and user stories to improve the developer journey.
4. Advocate for Video API users' needs within the company, especially in relation to other CPaaS APIs.
5. Lead cross-functional teams across engineering, product management, marketing, developer experience, customer success, and business development to execute the strategy.
6. Conduct industry and competitive analysis to identify trends, gaps, and new product opportunities.
7. Define key metrics to evaluate product performance, analyze data, and inform decision-making.

What's required for application :

1. 8+ years of experience as a Product Manager delivering client or cloud-based platform products (SaaS or PaaS).
2. Strong communication skills, both written and oral, with the ability to effectively communicate with engineering teams, customers, and executives.
3. Action-oriented with collaboration skills and initiative to drive results.
4. Ability to manage relationships across groups.
5. Exceptional problem-solving skills.
6. Experience in identifying success metrics and analyzing data.
7. Technical background in APIs & SDKs using WebRTC.
8. Ability to prototype using product APIs.
9. Experience building real-time video or voice customer experiences.
10. Telecommunications background is a plus.
11. Experience or background in machine learning is a plus.
12. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
