We are seeking a highly creative and strategic Creative Director to lead our design and copy teams within the Content Studio in Barcelona. This role is key in shaping the visual and narrative identity of Nespresso across all content touchpoints, ensuring premium execution aligned with brand guidelines and driving innovation through cutting-edge technologies. The Creative Director will champion a digital-first mindset, optimize content for engagement across platforms, and collaborate closely with Operations and Planning leads to deliver high-performing, market-adoptable content.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Creative Leadership & Vision : Develop and communicate a clear creative vision for Nespresso. Inspire and motivate design and copy teams to produce innovative, brand-aligned work. Provide strategic guidance on all projects, ensuring alignment with business objectives and brand strategy. Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in content creation and digital marketing.
  • Brand Guardianship : Maintain brand integrity and visual identity across all content. Deeply understand Nespresso's brand values, target audiences, and competitive landscape. Ensure consistency in tone, visual style, and messaging across formats.
  • Digital-First Optimization : Promote a digital-first approach, tailoring content for different platforms (website, social media, email, digital advertising). Use data and analytics to guide creative decisions and improve content performance.
  • Team Management & Development : Lead, mentor, and develop design and copy teams. Foster a collaborative environment. Conduct performance reviews, provide feedback, and support skill development. Recruit and onboard new team members as needed.
  • Innovation & Technology : Drive innovation through exploring new technologies like AI, virtual production, and modular design. Experiment with new content formats and platforms. Leverage technology to streamline content creation and improve efficiency.
  • Collaboration & Communication : Work closely with Operations and Planning to ensure timely delivery of content. Collaborate with marketing, sales, and product teams to align strategies. Communicate effectively with stakeholders and present concepts to senior management and partners.

Desired Skills and Experiences :

  • Bachelor's degree in Design, Fine Arts, Marketing, Communications, or related; Master's preferred.
  • 8-10 years in a creative leadership role, preferably in an agency or in-house studio.
  • Proven success in developing content strategies that drive results.
  • Deep understanding of digital design principles, UX / UI, responsiveness, and accessibility.
  • Experience with creating compelling digital content.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite and relevant design software.
  • Experience with AI tools and virtual production is a plus.
  • Understanding of content marketing metrics and analytics.
  • English (C1) or native; fluency in Spanish is highly desirable.
