Una empresa multinacional líder en la industria ferroviaria busca un Coordinador de Servicio de Campo para supervisar la instalación de puertas en el Metro de Madrid. Formación

  • 5+ años de experiencia en proyectos de mantenimiento o instalación.

Descripción del empleo

Touch in Touch is recruiting a Field Service Coordinator for a multinational leader in the railway industry that provides highly engineered systems and services to virtually every major rail transit system worldwide.

The company has been awarded the contract for the provision of Platform Screen Doors for Metro Madrid and the selected candidate will supervise the installation of the doors at each Metro station.

This role involves managing an international project spanning Spain, France, and China and coordinating external subcontractors.

As an Installation Manager, he/she will be responsible for supervising installations according to the project schedule and customer requirements, ensuring and improving Quality, Cost, and Delivery, while fostering a safety culture among all personnel.

Main Functions:

  1. Ensures that all critical civil interfaces are well coordinated, surveyed, checked, documented, and understood.
  2. Prepares installation procedures and method statements, T&C procedure supported by the STM and the Design team.
  3. Supervises the warehouse prerequisites and warehouse management.
  4. Participates in the definition of the method of goods delivery to site.
  5. Works closely with the PM to plan and manage the site team to the satisfaction of the customer.
  6. Interfaces with the customer construction manager.
  7. Mobilizes workers within the company and from subcontractors.
  8. Leads and coaches the FYT supervisors and testing engineers team.
  9. Supervises the installation subcontractor/partner and reviews the daily work progress.
  10. Facilitates constructive working relationships with all personnel, encouraging open communication.
  11. Daily communicates with PM to summarize the progress and the difficulties encountered.
  12. Prepares weekly or monthly progress reports for the customer, PM, or directors upon request.
  13. Ensures all civil pre-requirements are respected.
  14. On-site supervision of system installation and testing by subcontractors.
  15. Manages and resolves all project installation and operational issues.

Requirements:

  1. Degree in Mechanical, Electromechanical, or Civil Engineering. A technical diploma (FP) or equivalent education may be considered based on relevant experience.
  2. At least 5 years of experience in maintenance or installation projects (industrial, construction, elevators, automatic stairs, etc.).
  3. English: Medium-High level (B2 or higher).
  4. Experience with Metro Madrid, Metro Barcelona, or other metro systems is a plus.
  5. Availability to travel to China for 2-3 weeks during the initial stage of the project to gain knowledge of the product and manufacturing process.
  6. Availability to work partial nighttime hours (2 to 5 a.m. or 1 to 4 a.m.) during the first months of the project to ensure on-site installation supervision. This nighttime requirement will gradually decrease as the project progresses.
