Job description

We are seeking a passionate Project Manager focused on healthcare innovation and specialized in software medical devices, eager to drive innovation in digital health. This role involves leading the development and implementation of transformative healthcare technology projects from conception to delivery.

The ideal candidate will bridge the gap between commercial and technical teams, translating customer needs into actionable specifications, ensuring solutions meet high standards required by health sector partners and their patients, while adhering to budget, time, and regulatory constraints. A key part of your role will be explaining technical processes and API integrations to clients, emphasizing the importance of technical expertise combined with regulatory knowledge for seamless software integration.

Responsibilities include

1. Project planning and execution: Develop and monitor detailed project plans, manage scope, schedule, and costs, ensuring successful delivery within constraints.
2. Customer interaction: Guide clients through technical processes, ensuring understanding of product functionality and system integration via APIs.
3. Team liaison: Act as the link between commercial and product teams, translating customer needs into technical specifications.
4. Technical and regulatory advisory: Support customers in understanding use cases, technical integration, regulatory compliance, and data protection issues.
5. Requirements analysis: Assess project needs to ensure alignment with product goals and customer expectations.
6. Healthcare process overview: Provide insights into healthcare workflows to support solution development.
7. Product documentation: Define development requirements and ensure comprehensive product documentation.
8. Strategy contribution: Participate in defining and refining product strategy to ensure market relevance and success.

Must-have qualifications

• Proven experience in project management within software medical devices, digital health, or biotech sectors.
• Knowledge of AI applications in health, especially dermatology.
• Technical proficiency in PHP, JavaScript, or Python.
• Understanding of medical device regulations and compliance frameworks.
• Basic knowledge of data privacy laws such as GDPR and HIPAA.
• Familiarity with healthcare management systems and standards like FHIR and HL7.
• Strong communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences.
• Leadership experience in dynamic teams.
• Degree in Business Administration, Health Management, Biotechnology, or related.
• Project management certification (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2) is highly valued.
