Formación

We are looking for a Recruitment Coordinator to join our pre-opening team at Mandarin Oriental Punta Negra, Mallorca, set to open in Spring 2025.

Surrounded by natural beauty, the Mandarin Oriental Punta Negra, Mallorca, spreads over 3 hectares of landscaped cliff tops and gardens cascading down to the sea. The property offers unique access to two coves surrounded by crystalline waters. It is ideally located within Calvià, one of the most exclusive municipalities of the island, close to key attractions such as Portals port, the historical landmarks of Palma de Mallorca, and the international airport.

As the Recruitment Coordinator, you will be responsible for the recruitment and selection process within the hotel, as well as assisting in all administrative and clerical duties.

The Recruitment Coordinator will be responsible for:

  1. Advertising vacancies on our company’s posting sites and social media platforms.
  2. Collecting and reviewing applications to shortlist candidates.
  3. Conducting background reviews to ensure candidates are fit for the position.
  4. Scheduling meetings with and interviewing shortlisted candidates.
  5. Selecting the most suitable candidates and extending job offers.
  6. Supporting the recruitment/hiring process through sourcing candidates, performing background checks, assisting in shortlisting, issuing employment contracts, and other related tasks.
  7. Collaborating with Department Heads on manpower needs, including sourcing for full-time, part-time, foreign, and alternative workers to fill vacant positions.
  8. Ensuring smooth daily People & Culture operations.
  9. Assisting in generating accurate personnel statistical reports.
  10. Maintaining security and confidentiality of all information.
  11. Performing additional duties as assigned by the Manager/Director of People & Culture.

We expect from you as a Recruitment Coordinator:

  • At least one year of experience in People & Culture, preferably in the luxury hospitality industry.
  • Familiarity with recruiting software and tools.
  • A positive, proactive attitude, and a strong sense of responsibility.
  • Attention to detail, self-motivated, team player, with good interpersonal skills.
  • Highly organized and thorough.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Effective communication skills in both Spanish and English, with strong presentation skills.
