We are seeking a Python Developer for one of our clients, remotely from Europe.

Role Overview:

Join the Risk Management Team to develop and maintain risk analytics tools, design and implement APIs supporting risk workflows, optimize data pipelines for efficient processing and reporting, and ensure secure, scalable risk-related applications. Collaborate with risk analysts to translate requirements into technical solutions.

Accountabilities:

1. Develop and maintain Python-based risk analytics tools and web applications using Flask, Django, or FastAPI.
2. Design and implement APIs to streamline risk management workflows.
3. Optimize and automate data pipelines with Pandas, NumPy, and SQL/NoSQL databases for efficient processing and reporting.
4. Ensure applications are secure, scalable, and follow best practices.
5. Collaborate with risk analysts to understand requirements and develop solutions.
6. Maintain high code quality through version control, testing, and documentation.

Requirements:

1. Strong Python skills with experience in Flask, Django, or FastAPI.
2. Experience designing RESTful APIs.
3. Solid understanding of SQL and NoSQL databases.
4. Knowledge of software security best practices.
5. Familiarity with testing frameworks and version control.
6. Degree in Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, or related field.
7. Understanding of financial markets, instruments, and risk management.
8. Experience with market data, P&L, and risk metrics is a plus.
