EMEA Service Spares Warehouse & Logistics Manager

Location: Spain / Field based

Department: Supply Chain - Logistics (group)

Description:

The role involves managing the movement of materials within the GLORY GLOBAL SOLUTIONS Network, primarily in Madrid, with the Leganés Logistics Center serving as the Spare Parts Distribution Center for EMEA and the European Repair Center. The manager will coordinate a team of 16 to achieve company objectives, emphasizing excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Optimize Warehouse Management of ISC / ERC, including handling new, repaired, and defective materials.
  2. Establish strategies for material flow, zone allocation using ABC methods, lean processes, and 5S.
  3. Ensure correct implementation of Stock Turns.
  4. Manage cycle counts and target inventory accuracy.
  5. Define and monitor warehouse KPIs, utilizing PDCA for root cause analysis.
  6. Optimize transport routes prioritizing customer service, including specialized transport.
  7. Manage transportation efficiently to maximize savings.
  8. Oversee special projects for EMEA, including report preparation and analysis.
  9. Implement process improvements and develop process knowledge.
  10. Control warehouse operations, movements, and entry/exit processes.
  11. Communicate with international clients, including LATAM, requiring international client knowledge.
  12. Manage inventories and provide logistical support across functions.
  13. Monitor and control KPIs.

Skills, Knowledge & Expertise:

Education:

  • Bachelor's Degree/Diploma in Business Administration, Economics, or equivalent.
  • Fluent in Spanish and English (spoken and written).
  • Advanced Excel (Macros, Vlookup) and PowerPoint skills.
  • Proficient in ORACLE as a superuser.
  • Experience with change management, ERP projects, and financial understanding.
  • Training in continuous improvement, Lean, Six Sigma, 5S, and Total Quality is a plus.

Experience:

  • Logistical experience in IT or maintenance sectors, service environments preferred.
  • Deep knowledge of JDE; Demantra and ASCP are assets.
  • Proven project management experience.
  • Experience dealing with Latin American markets and multinational environments, including living in or working with European countries.
