Senior Software Engineer (Java / Spring Boot) – B2B Contract – Urgent Start

We’re partnering with a high-performing consultancy known for delivering world-class software solutions through modern engineering practices. They are on the lookout for Senior Software Engineers who bring deep expertise in Java and Spring Boot , and are passionate about clean, maintainable code.

This is an urgent B2B contract opportunity, ideal for engineers who thrive in collaborative, agile environments and value software craftsmanship.

The Role :

• Work closely with cross-functional teams to build robust, scalable backend systems in Java.
• Deliver clean, testable code using Spring Boot and modern design principles.
• Tackle complex engineering problems for enterprise clients across various industries.
• Mentor and support junior engineers and contribute to a high-performance culture.
• Collaborate in an agile, TDD / XP-driven environment.

What You’ll Need :

• Strong commercial experience with Java (11+) and Spring Boot .
• Solid understanding of TDD, clean architecture, and domain-driven design.
• Previous consultancy or client-facing experience is a plus.
• Exposure to PHP is a nice-to-have, but not essential.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
