What we are looking for:

Java Technical Lead with experience in AWS, Azure, GCP

This role involves contributing to a project with a global leader in credit cards, auto loans, banking, and savings accounts.

Location: 100% remote for candidates based in Spain.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Lead the development team to ensure timely delivery of high-quality software.
  2. Set coding standards and best practices, ensuring adherence.
  3. Mentor and coach junior developers.
  4. Provide technical guidance and support.
  5. Design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable software.
  6. Ensure stability and smooth maintenance of software under the DevOps model.
  7. Optimize application performance, quality, and responsiveness.
  8. Participate in the full Software Development Life Cycle, including QA and peer reviews.
  9. Align with product management goals and vision.
  10. Innovate within your team and technical domain.
Mandatory Requirements:
  • Strong Java programming skills and API development experience.
  • Deep understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle.
  • Knowledge of design patterns and principles (e.g., SOLID).
  • Experience with various testing types: Unit, API, Acceptance, Load Testing.
  • Experience with distributed architectures like SOA or MSA.
  • Experience with event-driven architectures.
  • Proficiency with REST APIs.
  • Experience with AWS services.
  • Familiarity with Gradle or Maven.
  • Experience with Enterprise Jenkins.
  • Agile work experience (Scrum, SAFe).
Preferred Skills:
  • Experience in regulated environments like banking.
  • AWS certification.
  • Experience with serverless technologies (AWS Lambda, Fargate).
  • Knowledge of TDD and BDD methodologies.
