About the team

We are seeking an experienced Labor Relations Manager to lead and manage labor relations strategies across our operations in Spain. Location: Navarra, Pamplona, Bilbao (generally throughout Spain, ideally in the north).

As a Labor Relations Manager, you will play a crucial role in developing and implementing labor relations strategies to support business goals while maintaining positive employee and union relationships. You will act as the company’s lead negotiator in collective bargaining agreements, ensuring compliance with labor laws and company policies. This role requires a deep understanding of labor laws, collective bargaining, and union negotiations, while also providing HR generalist support to ensure alignment with business objectives. You will collaborate closely with business leaders and HR teams to ensure labor strategies align with broader HR and business objectives.

Profile description:

Your profile as Labor Relations Manager:

  • Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Law, Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum 7-10 years of experience in labor relations, employment law, and HR generalist functions, preferably within the automotive or manufacturing industry.
  • Proven experience in union negotiations and collective bargaining in Spain.
  • Strong knowledge of Spanish labor law, employment regulations, and works council interactions.
  • Ability to balance strategic labor relations with hands-on HR generalist responsibilities.
  • Strong problem-solving, conflict resolution, and negotiation skills.
  • Experience working in a multinational environment, managing complex labor issues across different sites.
  • Excellent communication skills in Spanish and English.
