ABOUT THE PROGRAM

We are looking for passionate, enthusiastic, ambitious graduates to join our class 2024 EMEA Leadership Development Program. During the program, you will have the opportunity to manage key business projects and gain a wide breadth of exposure and experience across different countries and functions within Europe.

You will continue to grow and develop your career through on-the-job training and a professional skills training program, which includes communication and presentation skills training, as well as having the support and coaching from an executive mentor.

The program is spread over 3 rotations in 3 of the following areas :

  • Operations
  • Research and Development
  • Commercial / Sustainability / Marketing

During each rotation, you will deliver a key business project under the supervision of your manager. You will also have the opportunity to learn the day-to-day activities within the function and gain an understanding of how the function operates within Avient.

Upon completion of the program, individuals will be placed in a full time role within Avient that best suits their personal and professional goals and matches business needs.

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

We want to consider you if you have the following :

  • Master’s degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Polymer Science or Materials Science.
  • Fresh graduate or up to 2 years of experience including internship or student assignments.
  • Desire to learn and make a difference within the Polymer / Chemical Industry.
  • Excellent project management skills, preferably with experience working on a project in industry.
  • Good spoken and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and within a team environment.
  • MS Office
  • Languages : English fluent, additional European languages an asset.
  • EU Category B Driving License.
