Financial Review Specialist (with Spanish and Italian)

Want to help Earth’s most customer-centric company design, implement, and monitor risk mitigation strategies to improve the customer experience and protect Amazon’s brand?

In this role, you will work closely with Amazon's Last Mile transportation businesses to plan, scope, and execute financial reviews to assess carrier financial performance against expectations. You will be expected to apply finance and accounting concepts to new and existing business models, clearly and concisely communicate identified findings to carrier partners, and internally report review results in a timely and effective manner. You will provide carriers with consultative support to properly classify expense transactions, ensuring the completeness and accuracy of reported amounts. You will also collaborate with business, legal, finance, tech, and human resource teams to implement world-class, customer-centric financial review solutions and process improvements.

This position requires periodic travel.

• Collect, analyze, and manage quantitative data, performing financial analysis, ad-hoc deep dives, and creating meaningful reports across various data sources.

A day in the life

Financial Review Managers engage with Carrier Partners, planning, scoping, executing, and reporting on financial outcomes. They provide consultative support for expense transaction classification to ensure accuracy. They also collaborate with business, legal, and tech teams to implement customer-centric financial review solutions and process improvements. The role involves working effectively in a team environment, remotely collaborating with other team members.

About the team

Transportation Risk and Compliance (TRC) is the voice of risk and compliance for Amazon’s transportation businesses across 16 regions. We proactively identify and manage risks through mitigation strategies and ensure compliance with transportation and legal standards, including legislative, regulatory, and contractual requirements. Our TRC leaders leverage expertise, processes, and technology to enhance public safety and support business growth, serving our customers effectively.

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent
• Experience working with stakeholders
• Proficiency in Excel
• Advanced proficiency in written and verbal Spanish AND Italian

Preferred qualifications

• Professional auditing or risk / compliance certification
• Experience with SQL
• Experience defining program requirements and leveraging data and metrics for improvements
• Knowledge of PowerBI and Alteryx is a plus
