Candidates based anywhere in Europe will be considered for this role. This is a remote position.

Reporting to the Head of European Division, the Business Development Manager will oversee several iconic global A-brands in FMCG, translating growth strategies into distributor-focused plans across Europe. The role involves exploring the optimal route-to-market structures for each market.

The primary focus is achieving sales objectives and developing, fostering, and maintaining relationships with high-volume, visible distributors.

Responsibilities :

  • Distributor Management : Manage relationships and plans with distributors through market visits, serving as the key contact for business requirements such as planning, production forecasting, customer service, and program implementation, including engagement with Marketing, Brand Management, Finance, Food Service, and QA.
  • Route to Market Optimization : Evaluate and adjust the structure as necessary to meet growth objectives.
  • Data-Driven Insights : Use sales data and consumer insights to draw meaningful conclusions and develop regional plans.
  • Project Management : Lead key initiatives by working cross-functionally in a dynamic environment.

Qualifications :

  • Minimum of 6 years of proven experience in the FMCG industry, preferably in food.
  • Self-starter with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, think creatively, and act on innovative ideas while remaining calm under pressure.
  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage and prioritize multiple complex projects with attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Fluent in English; knowledge of additional languages is a plus.
