Job Description

The ESO Distribution Manager is responsible for implementing logistics plans, processes, and policies to support materials and finished goods storage and movement. As the local business process owner for intercompany logistics, warehousing, and freight, you will ensure alignment with global strategies and drive continuous improvement. Responsibilities include deploying best practices, monitoring performance through KPIs, coordinating local improvement initiatives, and enhancing warehouse and transportation systems. Additionally, you will utilize data and analytics for decision-making, lead EDI process implementation, provide expertise on trade compliance, and drive serialization project implementation at the plant level.

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as the local business process owner for intercompany logistics, warehousing, and freight, ensuring alignment with global strategies and driving continuous improvement.
  • Support the deployment of best practices in intercompany logistics processes, monitoring performance through KPIs and maturity assessments, and coordinating local improvement initiatives.
  • Coordinate the evaluation, implementation, and enhancement of warehouse and transportation systems (e.g., WMS, Nexus), ensuring alignment with local needs and global standards.
  • Utilize data and analytics to support decision-making, provide visibility to stakeholders, and monitor progress on warehousing and freight initiatives.
  • Lead local implementation of EDI processes in coordination with global and IT teams.
  • Provide subject matter expertise on trade compliance topics, ensuring local practices align with regulatory requirements.
  • Drive serialization project implementation at the plant level, ensuring collaboration with packaging and technical teams.
  • Ensure proper operation of serialization systems and equipment, in compliance with corporate serialization standards.
