This role involves ensuring data integrity, leading audits, and collaborating on integrated solutions. The ideal candidate will have extensive SAP experience, strong interpersonal skills, and project management capabilities.

We are currently looking for an SAP Finance IT Expert to join us at the Finance Service Center in Asturias, Spain.

Key responsibilities:

• Providing strong SAP Finance process and technical leadership to the General Ledger, Security, Audit, VAT, Tax, Intrastat, and Operations functions and users.
• Leading and participating in small/medium-sized SAP expansion or value-add projects.
• Leading the Security, Internal and External Audit functions with the responsibility to ensure that business requirements are successfully translated into SAP.
• Managing and assisting with ongoing SAP stabilization and enhancement tasks.
• Preserving SAP data integrity and ensuring adherence to corporate standards.
• Collaborating with regional leaders and SAP FIN IT network to implement functionally integrated solutions enabling business & tax initiatives.
• Training Finance and IT teams in SAP FIN skills and processes.

Key requirements:

• Education – Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Systems, or equivalent.
• 10+ Years of relevant SAP Finance Experience with focus on General Ledger, Security, Audit, VAT, Tax, and Intrastat.
• Involvement in 2 or more SAP Implementations is desirable.
• Technical proficiency in SAP FI/CO, focusing on Audit, Security, Intrastat, VAT, and Tax.
• Knowledge of DART Tools is a plus.
• Knowledge of S4 HANA is a plus.
• Solid experience in accounting and understanding of GAAP and internal controls.
• Knowledge of Intercompany is an added advantage.
• Strong interpersonal skills, proficiency in English (oral and written), and the ability to network and leverage resources effectively.
