The ideal candidate will bring over 10 years of data experience, particularly in driving data strategies for ERP projects in manufacturing. This is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to a long-term project in a remote setting, allowing you to leverage your expertise in a dynamic environment.

SAP Data Strategy & Governance Owner - 18 months + ext. - Remote

On behalf of one of our key partners, RED now has a new opportunity for an IT Data Strategy expert to join their SAP S/4HANA implementation project. The initial contract will be for 18 months with potential for long-term engagement.

This contract is to start ASAP and will be almost 100% remote.

Your responsibilities will include:

1. Developing a holistic data strategy concept and aligning it with all stakeholders; owning the strategic data & analytics concept handbook.
2. Defining and ensuring the implementation of the data & analytics governance organization.
3. Establishing and managing the Governance PMO to oversee and coordinate governance projects.
4. Establishing, leading, and facilitating Communities of Practice (CoPs) and governance bodies such as Data Owners and Data Stewards.

Required skills and experience:

• Over 10 years of data-related experience.
• Strong experience in designing Digital and/or AI data strategies.
• Experience in driving data strategy implementation during ERP projects.
• Extensive experience working with data for manufacturing clients.
• Ability to join within 4 weeks.
