Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement scalable, modular systems that reduce technical debt and support future use cases
• Maintain clean, well-documented code standards and conduct peer reviews
• Identify opportunities for reusable components, libraries, and tools to boost team productivity
• Lead feature development from planning through deployment, ensuring SLA and sprint goal adherence
• Diagnose and resolve rendering, API, and state management bottlenecks
• Collaborate with back-end engineers, designers, and product managers to refine requirements
• Mentor junior engineers through code reviews, pair programming, and workshops

Required Skills and Experience

• 4+ years in front-end software development
• Proficiency in React.js, TypeScript, HTML, and CSS
• Optional familiarity with Ruby or Ruby on Rails
• Strong understanding of architectural best practices, including modular design and reusable components
• Experience mentoring engineers and driving technical decisions
• Knowledge of test-driven development and security-focused coding
• Ability to work effectively in fast-paced environments managing multiple projects
