DESCRIPTION

Amazon Vendor Services (AVS) is a paid B2B service that helps strategic brands partner with Amazon to grow their business. As a Brand Specialist, you'll gain comprehensive exposure to all areas of e-commerce at the European level. You'll act as an Account Manager for our most strategic retail Vendors in categories such as PC, Beauty, Toys, or Kitchen. Your role involves consulting on selection and promotional activities, monitoring success metrics, and ensuring the highest levels of vendor and customer experience. You'll collaborate with external Key Account Managers and internal Vendor Managers to implement new ideas and processes across Amazon EU, including Supply Chain Management, Finance, and Marketing, while developing your skills and career.

Your responsibilities will focus on four key business areas:

Key job responsibilities
  1. Core Service:
    • Use analytical skills to identify opportunities for Retail Vendors and recommend improvements for business performance.
    • Collaborate with Vendors to utilize Amazon programs (e.g., Amazon Business) for long-term benefits.
  2. Availability & Operational Excellence:
    • Drive supply chain operational initiatives to reduce costs, defects, lead times, and other KPIs.
    • Manage stock levels in fulfillment centers using our ordering mechanisms.
  3. Promotion & Funding:
    • Recommend marketing and advertising strategies for Vendors to promote new products, increase traffic, and improve conversions.
    • Plan and manage promotional activities for Amazon events like Prime Day and Brand Weeks.
  4. Selection & IDQ (Item Data Quality):
    • Manage new product launches, identify product gaps, onboard new products, and ensure smooth ramp-up.
    • Enhance the customer journey through activities like store walkthroughs, competitor benchmarking, and creating content on detail pages.
  5. Data and Tools:
    • Develop data analysis tools and processes to build new capabilities.
    • Create and maintain reporting tools to generate business insights.
    • Automate data handling and analysis to improve team efficiency.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Business Administration/Economics with a focus on analytics or Big Data, or similar.
  • Experience with SQL.
  • At least 12 months of professional experience post-graduation in Sales, Buying, Project Management, Supply Chain, Consulting, Finance, Account Management, or Marketing.
  • Fluent in English and Spanish (minimum C1 level).
  • Proficient in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint).
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • Knowledge of programming languages (e.g., C, C++, Python, R, VBA).
  • Knowledge of additional languages.
  • Experience in e-commerce or client-facing roles.
  • Familiarity with analytical tools like Google Analytics or HTML.
  • Basic website content management skills.
  • Strong communication, planning, prioritization, and time-management skills.
