We are currently looking for an Electrical Design Engineer to join our team for a construction project.

Typically, when the project ends, we aim to place the employee on other projects to ensure continuity.

• Main Responsibilities:

- Develop electrical design documents and drawings for renewable energy / BESS projects.

- Develop electrical engineering calculations for string sizing, DC and MV cable calculations, studies, inverter sizing, and inverter quantities.

- Create preliminary design concepts based on engineering principles for solar PV and BESS system designs for RFPs.

- Interface with clients, project management, procurement, and other engineering disciplines regarding project electrical systems.

- Collaborate with different departments to support design concepts and optimize solar PV system designs.

- Guide CAD designers in layouts, single-line diagrams, and other design drawings.

- Ensure the use of appropriate procedures, design guidelines, and tools.

- Attend and participate in project meetings.

- Perform other duties as assigned by the EE Manager.

- Gain in-depth expertise in modules, racking systems, inverters, and drivers for accurate utility-scale solar PV project design.

• Working hours:

Monday to Friday: 40 hours weekly

• Requirements:

- Minimum 4 years of experience as an Electrical Design Engineer in constructing photovoltaic plants of >70 MW, working directly with construction companies.

- Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering.

- Experience with AutoCAD and PVsyst.

- Proficient in understanding manufacturers’ design specifications, application constraints, and installation requirements.

- Experienced in creating solar PV site plans and single-line diagrams for DC and AC systems.

- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism.

- Excellent organizational skills.
