The Lab Technician is a full-time role dedicated to bridging operational activities in Badalona with development and quality initiatives led by the Eurolab team in France. The position plays a crucial role in trial coordination, complaint analysis, and process optimization for sheetfed (SF) products.
Key Responsibilities:
- Set up, follow, and validate industrial trials in coordination with the Eurolab development team in France.
- Act as a technical link between the Eurolab and the QC (Quality Control) team.
- Analyze and support technical complaints related to SF products produced in Badalona.
- Handle and interpret results from the most common SF test methods.
- Lead and execute small development projects as assigned by the France development team.
- Generate detailed reports of activities and maintain active communication with all relevant teams and stakeholders.
Qualifications:
- Proven ability to evaluate various materials previously selected for testing and implementation.
- Strong knowledge in analyzing and controlling physico-chemical properties of raw materials or final products according to protocols.
- Experience in assessing the properties of new products for technical feasibility.
- Prior knowledge of SF test methods is highly desirable.
- Working knowledge of SAP for retrieving formulas, QC data, and other operational information.
- Good verbal and written communication skills in English are required.
- Effective problem-solving skills with high attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft 365 tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- French language skills would be an additional asset.
