Your candidacy is currently being considered for a requisition for an Alight Inc group company. As you may be aware, Alight has announced its intent to divest its Payroll & Professional Services business to HIG Capital. After the transaction closes, this position will be aligned with the new Payroll & Professional Services owned by HIG Capital ('Divested Group'). Additionally, any employment offer will be contingent upon a background check in accordance with the Divested Group's policies.

Position : Country HR Manager, Nordics

Location : Europe (fully remote)

Role Objective

The key focus of this role is to provide HR management and support for the Nordic region, mainly Sweden, Denmark, and Finland, within a matrix organization. The HR Manager must understand business unit goals, deliver professional HR solutions, and effectively implement HR policies.

Responsibilities:
  1. HR Planning: Develop medium to long-term HR plans aligning people and organizational priorities with business goals. Collaborate with the business to support activities and build resource planning and succession strategies.
  2. Provide coaching and advice to line management to improve organizational effectiveness and foster cultural change. Drive a high-performance culture and manage union relationships positively.
  3. Learning and Development: Develop people management competencies through coaching and interventions. Manage HR governance and communication processes, and promote in-house training programs.
  4. Business Change: Support business unit changes, considering people implications.
  5. HR Service Delivery: Ensure core HR services meet business needs, collaborating with Reward, Recruitment, Training, and HR Shared Services.
  6. Contribute to shaping HR policies, ensure compliance with employment laws, and implement policies within the business unit.
Qualifications and Experience

Degree in Business, HR, or equivalent. Minimum 5 years of HR experience, preferably in a consultancy or service environment. Strong knowledge of HR practices, labor law, payroll, social security, benefits, and employment regulations in the region. Understanding of talent management, employee relations, and total rewards is required. Fluency in English is mandatory; Finnish, Swedish, or Danish is a plus. Excellent interpersonal skills to build trust with management and employees.
