A leading company is seeking a Country HR Manager for the Nordics, focusing on HR management and support within a matrix organization. This fully remote role involves developing HR strategies, providing coaching, and ensuring compliance with HR policies. Your candidacy is currently being considered for a requisition for an Alight Inc group company. As you may be aware, Alight has announced its intent to divest its Payroll & Professional Services business to HIG Capital. After the transaction closes, this position will be aligned with the new Payroll & Professional Services owned by HIG Capital ('Divested Group'). Additionally, any employment offer will be contingent upon a background check in accordance with the Divested Group's policies.
Location : Europe (fully remote)
The key focus of this role is to provide HR management and support for the Nordic region, mainly Sweden, Denmark, and Finland, within a matrix organization. The HR Manager must understand business unit goals, deliver professional HR solutions, and effectively implement HR policies.
Degree in Business, HR, or equivalent. Minimum 5 years of HR experience, preferably in a consultancy or service environment. Strong knowledge of HR practices, labor law, payroll, social security, benefits, and employment regulations in the region. Understanding of talent management, employee relations, and total rewards is required. Fluency in English is mandatory; Finnish, Swedish, or Danish is a plus. Excellent interpersonal skills to build trust with management and employees.
