We are seeking a

Senior Research Associate to join our dynamic, rapidly growing, and innovative organization. The ideal candidate will be autonomous, a fast learner, and proactive. The primary focus will be to enhance our analytics and energy research capabilities.

How you will contribute :

  • Research and compile information about target countries, including economic context and power market features, to prepare Country Profile reports.
  • Prepare and deliver presentations or reports on relevant topics for identifying and selecting target countries.
  • Draft Collaboration Agreements with target countries and stakeholders.
  • Prepare supplementary materials for signing Collaboration Agreements and meetings with representatives.
  • Develop reports, white papers, and documents to support decision-making or enhance understanding.
  • Conduct presentations, courses, or seminars for stakeholders as part of capacity-building activities.
  • Prepare and deliver ad-hoc presentations or reports as required by RELP's core team.

What you will bring :

  • Bachelor's Degree in Economics (Mandatory).
  • Master's in Renewable Energy or related field.
  • 7-10 years of research experience, with at least 3 years in the energy sector. (Mandatory)
  • Professional proficiency in English and French. (Mandatory)
