Job Title: Clinical Data Scientist / Biostatistician

Location: Barcelona, Spain (hybrid)

Job Description

As part of our data-driven R&D organization, we are creating a new position for a passionate Clinical Data Scientist / Biostatistician to join our clinical development team focused on cosmetic products. The role involves building and implementing digital transformation initiatives, analyzing complex datasets, developing predictive models, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams. Knowledge of clinical development and cosmetics industry is a plus.

The role reports to the Director, Global Clinical Innovation and Skin Evaluation.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Develop and execute the department’s digital transformation strategy.
  2. Analyze clinical datasets to identify trends and insights.
  3. Create predictive models to enhance product efficacy and safety.
  4. Collaborate on experiment design and formulation validation.
  5. Draft study protocols and develop data monitoring dashboards.
  6. Ensure data quality and automate data collection with vendors.
  7. Create visualizations and reports for stakeholders.
  8. Stay updated on industry trends and technological advancements.
Skills & Qualifications
  1. Degree in Biostatistics or Engineering.
  2. Minimum 2 years experience in clinical data analysis, AI, and Machine Learning.
  3. Proficiency in Python or R, data visualization tools (R Shiny, Power BI).
  4. Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
  5. Knowledge of clinical trials and regulatory standards in cosmetics.
  6. Experience in healthcare digital transformation is a plus.
  7. Understanding of cosmetic product development.
