Formación

• Minimum 2 to 3 years of experience in automotive, particularly in engine systems engineering.
• Experience with functional and validation requirements following the V-cycle development process.
• Proficiency in English; French skills are a plus.

Job Responsibilities

1. Design and validation of the system architecture within the internal client process.
2. Translate system requirements (official rules, OBD, safety, functional requirements, performance, maintenance, etc.) into SW functional requirements and specifications for components (sensors and actuators of the engine management system).
3. Prepare the SCDR (System Control Design Review) file for the initial review with the SW Architect responsible for managing the SW function design.
4. Design generic validation plans for the functions.
5. Manage SW function development during the upstream project phases and ensure technical convergence for these functions.
6. Develop control system processes.
7. Perform functional design and validation of embedded systems, including OBD.

Qualifications

What you bring:

• Degree in Electronic / Industrial Engineering or similar field.
• Minimum 2 to 3 years of experience in automotive, particularly in engine systems engineering, including functional and validation of requirements following the V-cycle development process.
• Experience with ETAS modules and INCA tools.
• Understanding of Powertrain standards, diagnostic tools, and functional safety.
• Valuable experience in automotive embedded SW methods and architectures such as AUTOSAR, MBSE, CAN / LIN protocols.
• Proficiency in English for understanding documents and delivering quality outputs; French language skills are a plus.
• Knowledge of processes and tools such as DOORS.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and management skills.
