ECOOT Urban Ecolodge offers a unique urban ecotourism experience in Mashhad, Iran. The eco-lodge provides a harmonious blend of traditional accommodation and modern tourism to enhance the sense of belonging during the trip.

Role Description

We seek a passionate Hospitality & Operations Assistant at ECOOT Urban Ecolodge in Mashhad to manage daily operations in our courtyard area and contribute to the seamless functioning of our ecolodge. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in off-grid, values sustainability, and enjoys direct interaction with guests.

Key Responsibilities

1. Oversee daily operations of the courtyard, teahouse, and kitchen, including meal preparation (breakfast / snacks) and maintaining cleanliness.
2. Manage equipment maintenance and ensure eco-friendly practices.
3. Welcome and orient guests, providing exceptional hospitality and fostering a warm, inclusive atmosphere.
4. Share knowledge about local culture, sustainability initiatives, and ecolodge activities.
5. Assist with basic website updates, social media content, and booking system management.
6. Live on-site in a private, furnished hostel room with courtyard access (provided free of charge).
7. Work closely with the ecolodge team to innovate and improve guest experiences.

Requirements

1. Proven experience in hospitality, culinary arts, or facility management.
2. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
3. Basic proficiency in website management (WordPress, social media, etc.).
4. Passion for sustainability, community engagement, and cultural exchange.
5. Fluency in Spanish and English (additional languages a plus).
