Formación

  • 2 years of experience as a Quality Technician with mechanical or electronic products.
  • Intermediate English (B1 level).
  • Based in Madrigalejo del Monte (Burgos).

This position reports to the Global Quality Manager.

Your role and responsibilities

In this role, you will assist the Quality team in implementing and maintaining a quality system, including conducting audits, establishing controls, training on tools and methodologies. You will support activities related to quality management within the organizational unit, report quality Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and customer cases, and maintain process documentation.

Role overview

The Quality Technician is responsible for deploying and facilitating the quality culture in Autonomous Mobile Robotics (AMR), conducting audits, establishing controls, training on tools and methodologies, and reporting quality KPIs. You will also manage the quality management system in line with ABB guidelines.

  • Carry out audits of components according to incoming control instructions, and take corrective actions in case of deviations.
  • Initiate complaints to suppliers when non-conformities are identified, and follow corrective action plans.
  • Manage components returned from manufacturing for analysis with suppliers.
  • Create and manage incoming control instructions.
  • Supervise control, sorting, and rework operations of supplied parts, participating as necessary.
  • Support quality assurance activities in collaboration with local Production, Engineering, and other functions.
  • Report quality issues and data, ensuring adherence to the quality management system.
  • Report quality metrics and KPIs accurately and timely to facilitate analysis and process management.
  • Use measurement systems to produce data reflecting the characteristics of materials, products, systems, and processes.
  • Perform tasks safely, setting an example for others in safety practices.
  • Train local operational teams on quality management, support implementation, and promote improvement opportunities.
Qualifications
  • 2 years of experience as a Quality Technician working with mechanical or electronic products.
  • Knowledge of Quality tools, Quality Management systems, and experience in the industrial/automotive market.
  • Knowledge of SAP.
  • Bachelor's degree or higher.
  • Intermediate English (B1 level).
  • Based in Madrigalejo del Monte (Burgos).
  • Initiative, autonomy, eagerness to learn and grow within the sector.
