Omega CRM Consulting is looking for an Ecommerce Senior Software Engineer (Technical Lead) to collaborate with one of the top 15 global pharmaceutical companies.

The Sr. Software Engineer will partner with the business client community to identify and analyze business needs and provide innovative technology solutions supporting the Digital Commerce Global Strategy.

Research and propose technical solutions, work with internal and external partners on development requirements, design specifications, and architectural methodologies, while adhering to best coding practices and global standards.

Your main duties will be :

  1. Consulting and Analysis: Meet regularly with clients and stakeholders to understand their processes and needs, and determine requirements for solutions or improvements.
  2. Technical Focus: Serve as an expert on existing applications and systems within the Digital Commerce ecosystem, influencing technology decisions and identifying industry processes or technologies for competitive advantage.
  3. Development Collaboration: Work with technical teams to develop solutions, including documentation, design, and coding.
  4. Project Development: Contribute ideas and expand technical expertise in software concepts and projects.
  5. Code Review and Optimization: Review and improve code, performance, stability, and scalability.
  6. Team Development: Enhance the technical skills of the team through training and mentorship.
  7. Technical Justification: Justify design decisions to other engineers.
  8. Problem Solving: Think creatively to solve challenges and find workarounds.
  9. Timely Delivery: Complete tasks within deadlines.
  10. Stakeholder Communication: Engage in detailed technical discussions, challenge perspectives, and articulate value.

Requirements

  1. Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science or equivalent experience.
  2. 5+ years of Adobe Commerce experience or 7+ years in similar platforms.
  3. Proficiency in Adobe Commerce development and customization.
  4. Experience with PHP, MySQL, and GraphQL for backend web development.
  5. Knowledge of web application security and performance optimization.
  6. Effective collaboration skills across teams.
  7. Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.
  8. Understanding of coordinating across IT functions and complex processes.
  9. Good communication skills, proactive attitude, and customer focus.
  10. Fluent in spoken and written English.
  11. Experience working in international, multicultural, virtual environments.
  12. Knowledge of agile testing and Scrum practices.
  13. Experience in collaborative agile development teams.
