Job Summary

Sales account manager Flavours for Spain and Portugal

We are seeking a dedicated and dynamic Account Manager (Flavors, Iberia) with a focus in the F&B industry to develop the Flavors business in Spain & Portugal!

We are looking for an individual with both technical and commercial experience within the food industry and ideally product development experience in the flavor business. This role involves market prospecting for new clients and growing existing accounts.

Reporting to the Flavors Division sales manager, they will be the primary point of contact between the customer and the company. Main responsibilities will include developing relationships with customers, proactively identifying new business opportunities, and coordinating internal resources to deliver innovative business solutions.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Market Prospecting: Identify and develop new business opportunities within the Flavor sector for F&B industry
  2. Account Management: Manage and grow relationships with existing clients, ensuring their needs are met and identifying opportunities for upselling and cross-selling
  3. Sales Strategy: Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve targets and drive business growth
  4. Cross-Department Collaboration: Work closely with R&D, marketing, and product managers to ensure seamless service delivery and client satisfaction
  5. Autonomous Management: Manage your own schedule and priorities to meet business objectives
  6. Customer Support: Provide exceptional support to clients, addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly
Your Qualifications:

We are looking for a person with:

  1. A technical degree (chemistry, biology, food technology, or similar) or experience in similar roles in the F&B industry
  2. 5-10 years of experience in business-to-business sales
  3. Preferably experience in the food and beverage industry & flavor sales
  4. Fluency in Spanish & English
  5. Travel availability (30-40% estimated)
