Job Overview

Mobile Associates (MA) work as a member of a Retail Team of Experts to bring the T-Mobile brand to life. They are brand ambassadors who build energy and excitement around our products and services. They are passionate about the connected world and thrive in a fast-paced environment, where technology innovations, customer needs, and the Retail experience are continuously evolving. They build meaningful connections with customers, deepening relationships and providing education, demonstrations, and personalized device and service solutions. This role is designed for learning, with new associates working with their team to build skills and prepare for advancement to Mobile Expert. Successful completion of new employee training is required.

Job Responsibilities
  1. Build proficiency in serving and selling to customers, providing a world-class experience and building loyalty by helping customers continue their shopping journey online, via Customer Care, or in-store. Explore individual needs and demonstrate the latest technology and accessories, approaching interactions with integrity and compassion.
  2. Become skilled with digital tools for interactions and onboarding, demonstrating coverage, plans, and services that meet customer needs. Complete training on in-store experience, new skills, processes, and system knowledge. Seek out information and stay informed about wireless innovations.
  3. Establish relationships and partner with T-Mobile employees across channels to own the customer experience, resolve issues, identify small business leads, and support team initiatives to foster an inclusive environment.
Education and Work Experience
  • High School Diploma/GED (Required)
  • 6 months of customer service and/or sales experience, retail preferred (Required)
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • Passionate customer advocate who enjoys connecting and having fun (Required)
  • Competitive drive with success in fast-paced sales environments (Required)
  • Willingness to learn and collaborate with peers and leaders (Required)

Hourly Pay: $17.50/hour, with incentives and growth opportunities. All employees are guaranteed a minimum of $20/hour including incentives. Employees are also eligible for an annual stock grant.
