A leading company in the power electronics sector is seeking a Junior Engineer to contribute to product development and support ongoing projects. The ideal candidate will have a Master's degree in Electrical or Electronic Engineering and experience in power converters. You will work closely with internal teams and clients to define system requirements and explore innovative solutions in electric and hybrid vehicles.

We have an opportunity within our Engineering Department for a Junior Engineer in Power Electronics. The selected candidate will be responsible for the following :

• Contribute to the development of our product offering.
• Support the prospecting team in defining project requirements.
• Execute ongoing projects.
• Participate in decision teams for product development strategy.

Tasks

• Work with internal team and client parties to identify and define system requirements.
• Explore the research and development of new architectures and topologies of power converters in applications such as electric and hybrid vehicles, hydrogen production, etc.
• Contribute to the design and subsequent verification and validation of product concepts in R&D laboratories.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in Electrical or Electronic Engineering with more than one year of experience in research and development of power converters.
• Previous experience in power electronic converter topologies, modulation, control and algorithms.
• High level of self-confidence and autonomous goal-oriented work style, “can do” attitude, eager to learn new things and ready to think differently.
• Occasional trips related to ongoing projects.
• Previous functions in the automotive or renewable energy sector will be valued.
• Fluency in English, other languages will be valued.
• Commitment to new challenges and desire to enjoy a dynamic and motivated team.
