The Position

Please note that this role offers a fixed-term contract (until Dec 31, 2025), with the potential for extension based on project needs and performance.

The Record to Report (R2R) Department provides financial services for over 130 affiliates in the EMEA region, covering areas such as General Ledger Accounting, Management Accounting, Treasury, and Accounts Receivable. The department is expanding as we aim to perform end-to-end accounting activities.

The Opportunity

As a Senior Financial Accountant, you will perform daily and closing activities in collaboration with cross-functional departments, adhering to deadlines and maintaining full ownership of your tasks in line with process documentation. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Calculating and issuing AR manual invoices, managing daily bank postings, leased assets, fixed assets, CAPEX accounting, taxes, GL journals, accruals, and handling rejected and returned payments, as well as reconciling treasury transactions.
  • Clearing customer accounts, collecting direct debit payments, contacting customers, managing AR and bank suspense accounts, allocating cash, and credit management.
  • Reconciling and reporting intercompany balances and clearing B/S accounts.
  • Defining and calculating cost and revenue allocations in controlling.
  • Conducting product closing in SAP's Material Management module.
  • Preparing reports for consolidation.
  • Preparing audit documentation and participating in internal and external audits.
