bgts is looking for a Platform Engineer to join our dynamic and expanding team, serving clients globally.

What will you be doing :

• Collaborate closely with our clients' development and product teams in a fast-paced delivery environment.
• Build and manage a modern, automated, cloud-native, continuous delivery pipeline.
• Build and manage the cloud resources for our clients' business to use.
• Understand and provide security, compliance, and regulation expertise for banking systems.

Requirements

• Knowledge of technology best practices for building a modern automated DevOps platform.
• Good understanding of technologies and experience in building a highly scalable and fault-tolerant system.
• Self-starter, capable of working without direction and able to deliver projects from scratch.
• Proficiency in development languages (Java / Scala / Kotlin, Python, Node.js, HTML5, CSS3) and strong scripting skills.
• Experience with DevOps toolchain (GitHub, CircleCI, Artifactory, SonarQube).
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools (Spinnaker, Ansible, Chef).
• Cloud deployment and management experience (AWS preferred, GCP, Azure) via Infrastructure as Code tools (Terraform, CloudFormation, Pulumi).
• Container management and orchestration experience – Docker, Kubernetes.
• Monitoring tools experience (Elastic Stack, Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog).
• Strong knowledge of Linux / UNIX and TCP / IP subnetting.
• Understanding of Agile / Lean methodologies (SCRUM, KANBAN).
• Practical experience with Git workflows, including Trunk and GitHub flow branching strategies.
• Knowledge of distributed systems applicable to microservice architecture.
• Broad knowledge across operating systems, networking, distributed computing, and cloud computing.
• Certifications in cloud computing at professional levels (Solution Architect, DevOps Engineer, Security, Network).
