We are seeking a Senior Robotics Engineer to join our team in Madrid at GTD SI&R. This role involves developing user interfaces for robotics applications and integrating them with their environments (other applications, robotics frameworks, etc.).

As part of the ITER project, which aims to replicate the Sun's fusion process on Earth via an experimental reactor, you will contribute to one of the most ambitious energy projects in history. Your work will be crucial for the control and robotics systems vital to reactor operation, as many areas can only be accessed by robots.

Minimum qualifications include a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in computing, industrial / electrical engineering, or telecommunications.

Responsibilities include SW design, development, and testing throughout the full lifecycle, with proficiency in C programming essential.

Desired skills and experience :

• Experience with real-time operating systems such as Real-Time Linux or VxWorks
• Strong Linux and POSIX knowledge
• Hands-on experience with unit, integration, and validation testing
• Proficiency with GIT for version control
• High level of English language skills
• Experience with Haptic Control
• Familiarity with Virtual Reality platforms like Unity or RViz
• Knowledge of CI / CD pipelines
